WELCOME NEW BOARD MEMBERS!

Welcome David Fitzgerald & Rick Hernandez to the board! David is active in atheist circles in San Francisco and is acting as our Director of College Outreach. Rick is a member of Church of the Chimes in San Jose and is helping to improve our outreach to the south bay. We welcome their insight and direction as we coordinate and facilitate ongoing dialogues. IT'S OFFICIAL!

We have been sponsoring small group dialogue between believers and non-believers since June 2002. So far, over 100 people have participated in the San Francisco Bay Area and we have even hosted our first session in South Carolina! On October 17, 2003, the Secretary of the State of California stamped our incorporation papers and on March 8, 2004, the IRS sent us a letter giving us 501c(3) status. WE'RE PUBLISHED!

An article submitted by our President regarding The Garrison-Martineau Project was published in the First Quarter Edition of The Secular Nation, a quarterly magazine published by Atheist Alliance International. Click here to read the article. Please write a letter to the editor thanking them for this positive publicity! We especially need Christians to send letters to the editor. We'd like to encourage other atheist groups to sponsor Garrison-Martineau dialogues and they need to know there are Christians who find value in our dialogues.
